Maurice Lee DeVrient, Marionville, MO, son of Roy and Beatrice (Perrett) Different, was born on August 29, 1932 in D'Lo, MS and departed this life on December 14, 2020, at the age of 88.

Maurice served his country in the U S Army, 31st Infantry Dixie Division Veterans. He was a chief plant operator for Entergy Electric Company for forty two years, before moving to Kimberling City, MO where he owned and operated the Cinnamon Hill Bed and Breakfast with his wife, Shirlene.

Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Beatrice Different; wife, Shirlene Doyle DeVrient and brother, Jerry DeVrient.

Survivors include: two sons, Mark Samuel DeVrient and his wife, Deidre Perry DeVrient of Natchez, MS and Kerry Maurice DeVrient of Catlin, IL; a daughter, Melissa Varner and her husband, Gary of Raymond, MS; one grandson, Mark Adam DeVrient; two great grandsons, Whittman DeVrient and Thacker DeVrient and a host of other relatives and friends.

Maurice will be laid to rest at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO with a private family service. Burial was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
