Maxine Ellison, Lampe, MO, daughter of James and Emma (Richey) Bailey was born September 5, 1921 in Lead Hill, AR and departed this life on July 10, 2020 at the age of 98.

Maxine had been a resident of the area sixty years.  She was of the Church of God faith.  She worked many years as a seamstress at Silver Dollar City, stitching themed costumes and making many friends.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Ellison; son, Donnie Ellison; two brothers, Paul Bailey and Clayton Bailey; three sisters, Mae Laffoon, Edna Kirkwood and Cecil Manley.

Survivors include: Son, Argil Ellison and wife, Ann of Bowling Green, MO; daughter, Mary Taylor and husband, Bill of Springfield, MO; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside service will be held Monday, July 13, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at the Blue Eye Cemetery Blue Eye, MO with Pastor Jerry Jenkins officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested a gift to your favorite charity.
