Melissa (Missy) Kay Peterson, Reeds Spring, MO, daughter of Bob McIntosh and Frances (Jean) Berry, was born April 14, 1969, at Branson, MO, and departed this life on February 12, 2024, at the age of 54.

Missy was a lifelong resident of the area.

On March 16, 1985, she was united in marriage to David J. Peterson.

Missy attended the Friendship Free Will Baptist Church, Branson, MO.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bob McIntosh.

Melissa is survived by her husband, David J. Peterson, daughter, Katrina Walker and husband, Jeff Walker, granddaughter, Rivers and grandson, Eddie, son, Derek Peterson and wife, Lexi Peterson, granddaughters, Callie and Kylie, grandson, Gabriel, her mother, Jean White, brother, Bobby Berry and aunt, Joyce Davis, along with many other loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Kimberling City, MO.  The service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Kimberling City, MO.  Burial will follow in the Philibert Cemetery, Kimberling City, MO.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
