Michael J. Lankton, Lampe, MO, son of Harold Donald and Betty Jean (McGuire) Lankton, was born February 2, 1949, at Omaha, NE, and departed this life on July 23, 2025, at the age of 76.

On July 25, 1967, he was united in marriage to Donna M. Bade at Sidney, IA.  Together they moved to the area 48 years ago from NE.

Michael owned and operated his own brush hogging business before his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Betty Lankton, two brothers Don and Steve.

Michael is survived by his wife, Donna Lankton of Lampe, MO, sister Debby Rowe of Florence MS, daughter Candy Boyd and husband Davy of Ozark, MO, son Jerry Lankton and wife Tammy of Lampe, MO, Jeff Lankton and wife Dana of Branson, MO, Eleven grandchildren Lauren Roussell, Lake Shelton, Bryer Boyd, Jessica Boyd, John Lankton, Alisha Plaster, Jonathan Lankton, Kami Maggard, Dakota Callaway, Kyler Lankton, Kale Lankton, and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Kimberling City, MO. Cremation is under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
