Mitchell Arnold
Sterling
Aug 8, 1965 — Mar 22, 2026
Mitchell A. Sterling went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2026, at the age of 60. He was born in Springfield, Missouri on August 8, 1965, and lived most of his life in southwest Missouri. He is survived by his wife Cheri, both sons Jordan and Dustin, and 5 incredible grandkids. He is best known for his caring nature, young at heart energy, playfulness, and most of all his devotion to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mitchell was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many people. He enjoyed any activity outside that included his family, and the occasional challenge that his competitive nature enjoyed. He had joined his family and friends on numerous adventures over the years that included mud runs, Rocky Mountain hiking, and beach vacations that would describe his life as full and active up to his departure from this Earth. His passing leaves a big hole in the hearts of family and friends that can only be filled with the reassurance that we will see him again, thanks to his intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. His leadership within his family has no doubt shaped his kids and grandkids into the remarkable people they are today. With the example Mitchell set for his family, he has generationally changed his family tree into effective assets the Lord can use to reach the lost. We are in no doubt sad about his passing, but are grateful for the 60 years the Lord has allowed us to be with him.
