Nadine Sewell, Nixa, MO, daughter of Willie "Red" and Margaret (McGlothlin) Chambers, was born on August 3, 1948 (although it was actually on the 4th) in Galena, MO and departed this life on May 08, 2022, at the age of 73.

Nadine was a lifelong resident of the area who worked as a seamstress the garment factory in Crane, MO and was of the Baptist faith.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Red and Margaret Chambers; son, Jimmy Sewell and four brothers, Floyd Chambers, William Chambers, Frankie Chambers and Junior Chambers.

Survivors include: two daughters, Karen Sewell of Nixa, MO and Peggy Bergen and her husband, Glen of Nixa, MO; sister, Shirley Keener and her husband, Dwight of Crane, MO; six grandchildren, Timmy Shirley, Megan Shirley, Kera Shirley, TJ Sewell, Aaron Sewell and Maggie Sewell; five great grandchildren (and two on the way) and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Funeral services will follow the visitation with Ron Rasmussen officiating. Burial will be in Galena Cemetery, Galena, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
