Nancy L. Janssen, Kimberling City, MO, daughter of Gilbert and Ruth (Zimmerly) Morrison, was born June 13, 1937 in Peotone, IL and departed this life on November 10, 2019 at the age of 82.

Nancy had only lived in the area a few months, moving here from Charleston, IL.  She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.  She enjoyed painting, to include gourds and jewelry making.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Janssen; and her parents.

Survivors include:  three sons, Dan A. Janssen of Bolingbrook, IL, Steve C. Janssen and spouse, Steve of Bolingbrook, TX and Michael J. Janssen and wife, Kathy of Hillsboro, MO; two daughters, Pamela McCabe of Kimberling City, MO and Julie Genens of Marley, IL; two brothers, George Morrison and wife, Loma of Nevada and Tom Morrison of Thailand; sister, Elizabeth Sue Scott of Charleston, IL; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial visitation and service will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019 12:00-3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Cape Fair, MO. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
