Olive (Polly) Brown, Galena, MO, daughter of John Knox and Olive Maud (Youngs) Kellner, was born on July 11, 1926 in Binghamton, NY and departed this life January 25, 2021, at the age of 94.

Polly was a homemaker, reverend's wife and loving Mother who also cared for her parents in her home for years. She was an excellent hostess whose dinners were known coast to coast. Her greatest joy was pleasing her family. Polly had lived in the area for the past twelve years coming from Lawton, OK. She attended the First Baptist Church, Cape Fair, MO and prior to moving she was a member of Lawton First Assembly of God Church, Lawton, OK.

Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend John Brown; parents, Reverend John and Reverend Olive Kellner; two brothers, John Kellner and Paul Kellner and two sisters, Faith Hubbard and Lois Kellner.

Survivors include: two daughters, Linda Peabody and her husband, Dr. Eckle Peabody of Cleveland, OK and Sue Turner and her husband, Clay Turner, Sr. of Galena, MO; one sister, Grace DeGroat of Syracuse, NY; four grandchildren, Clayton Turner, Jr., Sheila Turner, Joshua Martin and Zack Martin; eleven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa OK with Reverend Don Barnes and Reverend Gary Pratt officiating. The family requests anyone attending the graveside to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Services are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
