Obituary

Peggy Lyn Lebow

Peggy Lyn Lebow, 85, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026.

Born and raised in Stone County, Missouri, Peggy spent her life surrounded by the people and places she loved. She was a strong, spirited woman who was never afraid to speak her mind. Those who knew her will always remember her beautiful red hair—and, perhaps just as famously, her fiery temper. She had a personality that could fill a room, and she left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Peggy retired from Hagels Manufacturing after many years of dedicated work. Above all, she cherished her family and the many memories they made together. She especially enjoyed watching her children grow up and cheering them on as they played sports and participated in dirt car racing. As the years went by, one of her greatest joys was watching her grandchildren at the ball field and being there to support them in their own activities. She loved being a part of their lives and watching each generation grow.

Peggy is survived by her children, Rhonda Hummel (Robert Hummel), Rick Lebow (Linda Lebow), Robert Lebow (Mechelee Lebow), and Randall Lebow (Kristin Lebow).

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alison Kozisek (Chris Kozisek), Nathan Boelke (Rhonda Boelke), Kyle Lebow, Nick Boelke (Kortney Boelke), Dawnelle Doucey (Richard Doucey), Jarett Boelke, Katelyn Emerson (Tucker Emerson), Jordan Lacy (Kaedon Lacy), Cami Lebow, and Reese Lebow; and her great-grandchildren, Amyleigh Kozisek, Johnny Kozisek, Levi Boelke, Kaysen Lebow, Delainey Boelke, Noah Lebow, Ryker Boelke, Livvi Boelke, Laikyn Emerson, and Renlee Emerson.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Oren Lebow; her daughter, Mary Lyn Lebow; her parents, Jacob F. and Edith Rosemary (Hampton) Bowling; and her brother, Jerry Bowling.

Peggy leaves behind a family who will carry her memory forward for generations to come. Her strength, fierce spirit, red hair, and unmistakable temper will never be forgotten. Most of all, she will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the pride she took in watching them grow, cheering from the sidelines and ball fields, and making memories together.

She will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and greatly missed.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026, in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
