Philip "Phil" James Kibbe, Galena, MO, son of Roy Kibbe and Stella Maxine Shafer, was born February 24, 1962, in Montebello, CA, and departed this life on Saturday, July 16, 2022.

Phil had been a resident of the area for 30 years. He had worked as an over the road truck driver before becoming disabled.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael E. Kibbe.  His surviving siblings: Brother, Steven E. Kibbe of Galena, Mo and sister, Judith K. Sweeney and her spouse, Cliff of Reeds Spring, MO.

Surviving Phil: his daughters, Shannon Valentine and husband, Tony, of Kimberling City, MO; Misty Harp husband, Steve, of Oak Grove, AR; Stephanie Kibbe of Greenville, SC., Chelsie Hembree and husband, Cory of Galena, MO; Josie Kibbe of Reeds Spring, MO; one son, Randy Kibbe, and wife, April of Greenville, SC. Ten grandchildren; Luke Valentine and Jamie Valentine; Abagail Kibbe, Amelya Deal, Lillian Deal and Alexandria Deal; Ellie Hembree, Blayne Hembree and Kailey Hembree, and Logan Kibbe. The eleventh grandchild, expected of daughter Josie Kibbe, is arriving in September of 2022.

Graveside Service will be at Yocum Pond Cemetery, Reeds Spring, MO, July 28, 11:00 p.m. under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Reeds Spring Humane Society in memory of Phil and his dog, Woody.
