Rick McLarty, Kimberling City, MO, son of George and Mildred (Watkins) McLarty Sr., was born October 21, 1937, at Braden, OK, and departed this life on September 9, 2024, at the age of 86, after a long battle with Alzheimer's and cancer related conditions.

Rick served in the United States Air Force.  He was Honorably Discharged on April 10, 1967.

He was united in marriage to Donna Werner in February of 1989.

Rick's first job was at the age of 11, as a paperboy, and was self employed until his retirement at the age of 74, at which time he owned and operated Healthy Connections in Springfield, MO.

Mexico was Rick and Donna's home away from home.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mildred McLarty and his sister, Betty Rockwell.

He is survived by the love of his life, Donna McLarty and his brother in law, Larry Werner, who was so dear to his heart.

The past years were daunting, Alzheimer's is relentless, but due to the love and care of our wonderful friend and caregiver, Theresa, we were able to have Rick at home until his passing.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Kimberling City, MO.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City.
