Robert Argyle Bliven, 87, of Lampe, MO, passed away in his home the morning of November 19, 2023. He was a graduate of the University of South Dakota with a geology degree, and he was an avid duck hunter. Bob worked as a cartographer for the government and lived out his retirement on beautiful Table Rock Lake in Lampe, MO.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Argyle Bliven; mother, Ethel (Everhart) Bliven and his sister, Bette Ann English.

Survivors include: his wife of 65 years, Carol (Begnoche) Bliven; his son, Robert W. (Stephanie) Bliven; his daughter, Renee Bliven; his son, Todd (Lisa) Bliven; sister Bonnie Bliven (Laird); grandchildren, Matthew Bliven, Bradley Bliven, Allie Terver, Gabrielle Wood and Nicholas (Marie) Wood.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church, Kimberling City, MO on December 2, 2023. The Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m., Mass at 10:00 a.m., The Rite of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. and a lunch to follow.
