Robert Anthony Kleiber, Springfield, MO, son of Anthony (Joe) and Betty (Grandma Honey) (Emerson) Kleiber, was born November 1, 1950, in Springfield, MO and departed this life on January 30, 2022, at the age of 71.

Robert and his best friend, Rick Leidy, who became his "partner in crime" grew their friendship over many years.  Teaming up to pick on his sister, Melanie, to going on out of state beer runs.  Robert and Rick had been friends since freshmen in high school.  The Leidy family is an extension of his and loved as much.  Robert served in the United States Navy for 4 years.  He loved anything WWII, Civil War and had several collectibles.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his sister, Melanie and her husband, Randy; children, Shelly and husband, Al and Joey and wife, Erica; his best friend and companion for 32 years, Tracy Hirst and her 4 children, Laura, Phebe, RJ and Megan; the Leidy family; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandkids; many friends and his cat, Moochie, all will miss him greatly.

Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Yocum Pond Cemetery, Reeds Spring, MO.  Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
