Roger Dean Jackson 75, of Wheelerville passed away May 25 at Mercy Hospital Aurora with his family by his side.  Roger was born November 20th 1947 in Ozark MO to Jesse and Della Mae (Glossip)Jackson.

Roger joined the Navy June 11, 1956 during the Vietnam War, he served on the Ranger and the USS Coral Sea until August 16, 1968. On August 29th 1969 he married Linda Sue Baker. That union brought four children. Denise Chapman of Springfield MO, Shannon (Paul)Lawrence of Ozark MO, Michelle Parker of Springfield  MO and Bryan Jackson of the home.

Roger is survived by his wife and children; grandchildren, Courtney (Wes) Scott, Tharon Chapman, Garrett Jackson,  Micaela Parker, Clayton Reed, Christian Jackson, Camryn Parker, Myleigh Parker, Gabryele McGrady, Erin McGrady; two step grandchildren, Regan Lawrence and Carly (Fisher) Tannehill and 8 great grandchildren, Izayah, Zaiden, Noah, Maddox, Xander,  Evelynn, Knala, Nehemiah.  Roger is also survived by his siblings, David Jackson, Emmitt Jackson, Dewallian Maples, Rick Jackson. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Harold Holmes and his sister Linda Wilson.

There are no services planned at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's foundation.
