Ronald 'Jack'
Milligan
Aug 31, 1942 — Mar 13, 2022
Branson West
Ronald Jack Milligan, 79, of Branson West, Missouri, peacefully passed away in his sleep on March 13, 2022, after a battle with heart and kidney failure.
Born in Decatur, Illinois to Jack and Virginia Milligan on August 31, 1942, Ronald, known to everyone as Jack, attended Lakeview High School in Decatur. It was there that he met his first wife, Karen Flowers, and together they had their first child and only daughter, Teresa, born in 1961, the same year that Jack graduated from Lakeview HS. In the years that followed, Jack provided for his family as it grew, fathering two sons, Jack Jr., born in 1963, and Guy, born in 1970. Jack's first marriage would later come to an end, but he would eventually find his lifelong partner in 1977 when he married Edith Teresa Combs, known as Teresa, a widow with a seven-year-old son, Jerry. In 1980, Jack and Teresa welcomed their son Derek as the fifth child to the Milligan family.
Jack Milligan enjoyed fishing, American cars, and classic western movies and TV shows, but far more importantly, he was a loving and kind-hearted Christian and friend to everyone he met, as well as a very hard-working father and husband. His family meant more to him than anything else, and he was so proud of them all, including his ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife of 44 years, Teresa, he is survived by all of them, as he would have wanted.
No services will be held at this time and the family requests no donations or flowers be sent. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be announced at a later date.
