Ronnie Raymond Smith, Galena, MO, son of Harry and Leona (Taylor) Smith, was born January 2, 1948, at Cameron, MO, and departed this life on January 2, 2024, at the age of 76.

Ronnie was raised in the Christian Church.

He was united in marriage to Teresa Berger.  Together they moved to the area from Cameron, MO, 54 years ago.

Ronnie was a math teacher before his retirement.

Ronnie served on the Reeds Spring School Board for 10 years, the last 3 serving as President.  He was a DKP member and had served as President of his dorm at the School of the Ozarks.  He also served on the Fire Department at the School of the Ozarks.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Leona Smith, one brother, Darrell Smith and one sister, Shirley Matthews.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Smith of Galena, MO, and a nephew, Robert Smith and his wife, Jeana of Lawson, MO.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Cremation is under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
