Rudy M. Haldiman, son of Joe W. and Mary Haldiman, was born January 24, 1949, in Kansas City, MO and departed this life October 31, 2020. Rudy spent most of his growing up years in Washington, IN, and joined the US Navy in 1969, serving on the USS Arnold J. Isbell.

He married Cheryl Williams of Washington, and together they had three sons, Zane, Berin and Shawn. After returning from his naval service in Viet Nam, he and his family moved to Springfield, MO, where he completed his education at Missouri State University and was employed at Litton Industries, Killian Construction and Watts Radiant. He married Claudia Kelley in 1991 and together they greatly enjoyed the beauty of nature and wildlife that were found in the Ozarks.

Rudy loved a good story, a good joke, his country, and his vast array of friends. His laughter and wit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Haldiman; wife, Claudia Haldiman, and two step-sons, Todd and Scott. He is survived by his mother, Mary; sons, Zane, Berin (Theresa) and Shawn; brothers Chris (Marilyn) and Joe (Pam); dearly loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins; an uncle, Martin Haldiman and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
