Shari Lynn Willis, age 59, of Kimberling City, passed away on April 14, 2026, at her home, surrounded by those she loved.

She was born on February 26, 1967, in Big Spring, Texas to Everett and Sandra Sexton.

Shari worked as a secretary in the HR department for an oil and gas company. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Verdigris Oklahoma, where she enjoyed working in the children's department and would come back during the summer months to help with Vacation Bible School and special events. However, while living in the Kimberling City area she attended Kimberling City First Baptist. Shari was also part of the Elks Lodge Auxiliary, where she truly enjoyed being involved in fundraisers that supported many community area projects.

She was preceded in death by her father Everett Sexton and her sons Jenson Roberts and Jacob Willis.

She is survived by her husband Wayne Willis of Kimberling City, Missouri,  her mother Sandra Sexton of Verdigris, Oklahoma, her son Adam Willis, daughter Emily Willis Ross and her husband Mike, her sister Shawnna Sexton Silvius and her husband Rob, her nephew Everett Silvius, her six grandchildren; Gracie Willis, Austyn Willis, Norah Ross, Crosby Ross, Harley Ross, and Letty Ross, and two great grandchildren Avelyn and Acyn.

A Graveside Service will be held on April 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Thornburg Cemetery in Thornburg Arkansas, under the care of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, Missouri, with memorial services planned in Kimberling City, Missouri, and Verdigris, Oklahoma, at a later date.
