Shirley Mills (née Shirley Jean Viehman) was born on February 17, 1929, and passed away on February 28, 2026.

She had a strong Christian faith and was a member of The United Methodist Church of Kimberling City in Kimberling City, Missouri. Shirley enjoyed beautiful things and delighted in making jewelry, which she would gift to her friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Morton; her second husband, Martel Mills; and two sons, Thomas Morton and Michael Morton.

Shirley is survived by her children Jerry Morton and Cindy Avant; her stepchildren Karen Bischof and Trent Mills; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is loved and dearly missed.
