Shirley Ann Stewart, Kimberling City, MO, daughter of George and Bessie (Leas) Temming, was born January 27, 1934, at Concordia, MO, and departed this life on November 17, 2023, at the age of 89.

Shirley was united in marriage to Richard Earl Stewart on June 4, 1955, at Concordia, MO.

Shirley was a school teacher for 50 years before her retirement.

Membership was held in the First Baptist Church of Warrensburg, MO, where she was very active.  She also belonged to the Golden Age Senior Group and Camping Club.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Earl Stewart, parents, George and Bessie Temming, and one sister, Helen Joyce Edwards.

She is survived by one sister, Carol Jienean Holt of Kimberling City, MO, niece, Amy Holt of Branson, MO, one son, David Allen Stewart and brother and sister-in-laws, Ron and Deanna Stewart of Warrensburg, MO.

A graveside service is set for 12:30 p.m., Monday, November 27, 2023, at the Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Warrensburg, MO.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
