Therese Marie Elizabeth Wautelet, born July 24, 1937, to Franz Josef Straub and Anna Maria Straub, in Althütte, Romania and passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 88.

Therese had lived in the area for the past twenty years coming from Waynesville, MO. She worked at the commissary for many years where she was known as mom to many of the kids and made lifelong friends along the way. Therese was very active in the VFW, DAV, American Legion, member of the Eastern Star and Loyal Order of the Moose and was the wife of a career military man.

Therese's favorite things to do was spending time with family, going to bingo, going to the casino, yard sales and crocheting. She also loved gardening, flowers and collecting dolls.

Therese was preceded in death by her son, Charles Eugene Wautelet, Jr.; her husband, Charles Eugene Wautelet, Sr; brothers, Anton and Wilhem Straub and her parents, Franz and Anna Straub.

Survivors include: daughter, Petra Sylvia Barclay and her husband, Christopher of Wilmington, NC, son Frank Patrick Malloney and his wife, Tracie of Reeds Spring, MO; daughter, Ramona Lynn Wautelet and Sherri Ann Thorne of Oklahoma City, OK; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Kimberling City, MO. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Philibert Cemetery, Kimberling City, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
