Thomas Edward Walsh, Galena, MO, son of Bernard and Kathleen (Carroll) Walsh, was born July 20, 1938 in Omaha, NE and departed this life on March 14, 2021 at the age of 82.

Tom had been a resident of the area for twenty years moving here from Naperville, IL.  He had a forty year career with Graybar Electric.  He was a member of the Kimberling City Elks Lodge and Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church Kimberling City, MO.  He served his country proudly in the United States Navy.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: His wife of 61 years, Margaret Walsh of Galena, MO; two sons, John Walsh of Nixa, MO and Jim Walsh and wife, Susan of Chicago, IL; three daughters, Liz Butrick of Springfield, MO, Katie Borden and husband, Russ of Atlanta, GA and Molly Booth and husband, Chip of Salem, OR; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Service for Tom will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church Kimberling City, MO with Father Joji Vincent officiating.  Military honors will be done at the conclusion of the service.  Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO at a later date.
