Obituary

On Saturday June 25th, 2022 the world became a much colder darker place as heaven gained one of the most big hearted, sweet, caring funny and smart young men you could ever hope to meet. Trenton was primarily raised by his mother, Renee Williamson who instilled the value of love and integrity above all other things. As a result, Trenton loved as fiercely as his mother did and if you were lucky enough to be loved by him, then you didn't have any doubt as to how he felt about you and would do anything within his means for you. He always put everyone else's feelings or needs above his own and didn't have a wicked bone in his body. I don't think he even knew how to be mean.

In 2009, at the very young age of 10, he received the Presidential Volunteer Silver Service Award from President Obama for completing over 280 hours of community service in one year. This was done of his own free will, without any demands from a court and was not a punishment from any agency. He was very active in the Boys and Girls Club and held the position of Vice President in the Torch Club Leadership Group within the Boys and Girls Club, as well as a junior staff member. This let to him becoming nominated as Youth of the Month in August of 2012 and gave him eligibility for Youth of the Year consideration. Trenton was also a fantastic athlete and played Football, Basketball and Baseball throughout most of his school years. Again in 2012, Trenton competed in the Major League Baseball Assosication's Pitch Hit & Run Competition in which he won the pitching champion, hitting champion, and all around champion on the local level. His stats are permanently recorded with the MLB Association.

In 2014, Trenton joined the Greene County Sheriff's Department as a junior cadet, but decided after one semester that he wanted to pursue a different career path and decided to enroll in OTC through Parkview High School's Automotive Vocational Program since cars have always been a love shared between him and his mother, as well as many other family members and friends. He completed the autobody and paint training with ASC certification. The next year he completed the automotive mechanical training, again with ASC certification.

Trenton was exceptionally smart and you may have figured out by now that he exceled in everything he set his mind to accomplish. He not only had straight A's throughout all 12 years of school, but was on the principal's honor roll by maintaining a gpa of over 3.75. His actual gpa was 4.9 and received the Presidential Academic Excellence Award from President Obama in 2014. All of these recognitions earned him a scholarship from the Missouri A+ program which he did take advantage of after high school at OTC.

His mother once again was the driving force behind his pursuit of excellence but shares that credit with some very important key role models in his life that helped guide him into young manhood and were instrumental in the character building that made him the extraordinary young man he turned out to be in his short life of 22 years. For their efforts, Trenton's mother would like the following exceptional gentlemen recognized for the positive impact they each had on her son. First and Foremost, Johnathan Key from the Boys & Girls Club was his mentor and confidant who had the largest impact on Trenton. JJ Willams, who he met as staff at the club but also became his personal basketball trainer was someone that Trenton could be found bragging about and looked up to til his last day. Patrick Maxwell was key in teaching him that you might throw up but pushing yourself to your limits only made you stronger, faster, better than the day before. He also helped mold the comradery teammates have between each other and taught him that we are our brother's keeper!

At home, he had 1 particular male role model that taught him how to always be ready, don't be gullible and how to be funny yet respectful. This influence was Darrell Long, the next door neighbor of 9 years and was a constant in Trenton's life. He was someone who Trenton fully trusted, felt safe with and liked to cut up with. He also sometimes needed a ride when he was so busy he would forget which bus he was supposed to ride after school and which extracurricular activity he was supposed to be doing that day. Trenton was also close to his grandpa Beeman who they enjoyed picking on each other and sharing oreo cookies together. I could write for days on all the people who helped mold Trenton but I will just list a few other key people I feel deserve an honorable mention. Those people are Sandy and Jo Dubrul, Ben and Brandy Cole and of course the only babysitter Trenton ever had and who was entrusted with keeping watch over him from a newborn until a caregiver was no longer needed. This person is Pam Pfeiffer who Trenton lovingly called "Ham-Mom" at first because he couldn't say Pam.

If Trenton loved you, he always gave you a nickname. His grandpa was papa. His grandma was nana and his other grandma was Me-Maw. His mother became Momma and sometimes Madre in his older days. Growing up as a only child gets lonely but at the age of 8 years old, he met a kid named Dakota Zobrist, that had just moved into the neighborhood. They became instant brothers and was even ran out of the yard one of the first times they played together because they were fighting. But Dakota was back the very next day and just seemed to always be there everyday at a certain point. Trenton had another best friend named Ezra, who he tragically lost in 2015 unexpectedly. They had grown up playing sports together and shared the love of sneakers. Ezra's passing greatly affected Trenton to the point of serious concern. It was Dakota that did not leave Trenton's side at all and seen him thru the hardest thing he had ever faced at the age of 15. From that moment, Dakota gained the undying gratitude and absolute unconditional love from Trenton's mother Renee. Still to this day, they stay in contact and is considered the brother from another mother to Trenton. I would also like mention of the close bond between Trenton and I and how much he looked up to Shane and was almost in awe of him.

Fast Forward to what would turn out to be the final years of Trenton's life and there was one very special girl he met in 2020 who knocked him off his feet and fell head over heals in love with. This was none other than Ms. Raquel Hull who made his face light up just to look at her and was the happiest I had ever seen him. They were almost inseparable and would even be seen dressed alike most days, including matching shirts and shoes. It was about the sweetest thing you could even imagine. They were each others perfect match and soulmate and it didn't take anyone very long to see that just by being around them. In May of this year, at Raquels 21st birthday party, with the help of his momma, Trenton surprised her with a ring and asked for her hand in marriage. Of course she said yes and would have been his wife had his life not been cut short. I still consider her my daughter in law and will continue to look after her for Trenton, as I know this above everything else is his wishes for me now that my duties of motherhood will end with Trenton's burial and he is no longer here to protect her. He loved her so much as well as her grandma who she is very close to and I want to close with this final message…

I am thankful beyond measure or words for Raquel and the happiness she brought to my son's life. She provided something that a mother just cannot give. But above that, she was there at the time of the accident and she did everything right that a momma could hope for in such a horrible situation with a tragic outcome. I will forever be indebted to Raquel for going down that mountainside after my son and holding his hand so that he didn't endure his final moments alone and being held by the person he loved and wanted to be there above anyone else. You called for emergency services and called me to the scene. You may never know how much it means to me to know my only child didn't have to go thru that scared and alone and how much it meant to me that you called us and didn't give up when you didn't reach us the first time to give me the chance to be there and see for myself, as gut wrenching as it was to realize your worst nightmares as a mother are becoming reality for reasons we will probably never understand, but never the less, I had to see for myself for my own closure and mental aftermath. So again, I can never thank you enough for what your actions did for Trenton and for me. I love you dearly and I will be a constant parental figure in your life who you can come to for any reason without judgement and will always have your best interests at heart and love for you in all that you do and are for as long as you will let me be a part of your life. I've made a final promise to Trenton so you can count on me to be here for you and help you with anything you may face, including the tremendous loss and grief we share without Trenton here with us. I truly love you girl and you are stronger than you even think and loved more than you know. You can do anything you set your mind to and can go far. You were given a second chance so God must have big plans for you. Don't let this consume you and take comfort that Trenton completed God's purpose for him on earth and there is nothing more you could have done and it is not your fault this happened, nor is it anyone else's fault! Hear that again No one could have changed the outcome because everyone is born with a purpose. God will call us home after you have served your purpose and I know he will be the first one to great you when you are called home. Until then, I've got you and so does everyone else. And Trenton has all of us from above and in our hearts forever. We're lucky in that we got to experience and share love from such an exceptional person who lived such a short life not many people were given a chance to know like we did and we are all better people for having known him. I'm the luckiest mother in the world to be able to say that was my son and I'm glad I was given those 22 years with him. I may want more but I wouldn't trade them for the world.
