Wanda Louise (Mease) Carr, age 90, departed this earth to be with her Lord on January 24th 2022. Wanda was born in Stone County Missouri, on March 3rd 1931 to Dewey and Vina Mease, where she continued to reside. She was united in marriage to Bobbie Lee Carr on May 19th 1951. She was a beloved mother, granny, sister, and friend to many whom loved her dearly. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cape Fair, where she was an active member throughout her years until her mobility no longer allowed. She was an active prayer warrior and enjoyed sharing her love for the Lord.
She was an amazing "Granny" to all who knew her. She had a great listening ear, loved to chat, enjoyed looking at pictures and reminiscing about the past, and loved to pass on baking advice. Wanda was an avid cook and one of her greatest joys was to feed people, especially her family and her "boys". She had the sweetest soul and blessed all of those around her. She could give the best hugs and her family was one of the greatest joys of her life.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; parents, Dewey and Vina; sisters, Irene Jones and Alene Stewart and brother, Ron Mease.
Wanda is survived by her two sons, Dennis and wife, Donella and Dexter and wife, Rhonda, both of Galena; grandchildren, Brent (Sheena) Carr, Kalle Carr, and Corey (Bayli) Carr; great grandchildren, Dalton, Briana, Wyatt, Stetson, and Kyzlee Carr; brothers, Darrell (Diane) Mease, Max (Carolyn) Mease, Bill (Lila) Mease and sister, Sue Bishop, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Wanda will be graveside, Thursday January 27th, at Yocum Pond Cemetary at 2:00 p.m. with Steven Gann officiating. Burial was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
