Wendy (Carl) Thomas, 54, of Republic, MO, formerly of Washington, IL, passed away peacefully at 12:07 am at Spring Valley Nursing Home in Springfield, MO, on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

She was born on March 22, 1969 to Jim and Mary (Adams) Carl in Peoria, IL. Wendy married Larry Thomas, October 27, 2001 in Marionville, MO.

Wendy was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Thomas, January 10, 2022 and her father, Jim Carl, March 12, 2018.

Wendy is survived by her three children, Travis, Andrew and Ella Thomas all of Republic, MO; her mother and step father, Mary (Larry) Robinson; step mother, Brenda Carl; sisters, Sandy (Todd) Hibbard, Pam Robinson and Kim (Joe) Hutt; brother, Chris (Amy) Lambert all of Washington, IL and sister in law, Sharon (Don) McCain of Missouri.

Wendy was an animal lover, she loved them all, and a great supporter of the military.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Charity Cemetery, Crane MO with Reggie Michum officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Stumpff Funeral home, Crane, MO.
