William J Cole, Galena, MO, was born June 23, 1934 in Ravenna, NE, and departed this life on August 26, 2022 at the age of 88.

William had been a resident of the area since 1997 moving here from Lincoln, NE. He had worked as a service agent for the gas company. He was a member of Prince of Peace Church in Springfield, MO. He was also active in the Elks, Shriners and American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Norman L Cole.

Survivors include his wife, Elfreda Cole of Galena, MO and son, Scott Cole and his significant other, Jane Lagechulte of Branson West, MO.

Private services will be planned at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
